Expanding Horizons is turning 30 !
Tuesday, Jul 10, 2018
On July 20, 1988 a young Bill Bostock registered the trading name Expanding Horizons (Aust) Pty Ltd with a vague plan to set up some South Australian itineraries to offer interstate coach operators. He and a young Heather Pascoe – sharing a desk and a single PC between them – began what has been an exciting and somewhat challenging 30 years. With little money behind them and even less experience the company has prevailed - and both Heather and Bill are still there. Expanding Horizons is proud to have “20 plus” staff and an amazing group of loyal, long standing and very supportive customers. In fact the three key ‘planks” in the company’s success have been GREAT Staff, GREAT clients and GREAT suppliers! As we turn 30 I would like to thank everyone who have stood by EH and supported us (in particular my brother David Bostock who made an amazing contribution and Jan Kerwin who is leaving the company after 22 years) – from an amazing group of current and former work colleagues to over 5,000 different suppliers throughout Australia who have worked tirelessly with us to create first class touring experiences for our coach company clients and their passengers. We love what we do and we treasure the industry relationships that have developed over the years.
