Earlando on the Whitsundays
Friday, Dec 1, 2017
On a recent trip to the Whitsundays Sandra visited Earlando, she met with Hannah who is the event co-ordinator and knows groups well. Earlando is an hour’s drive from Airlie Beach, for half of the journey it is on a dirt road, very easy to drive on, comfortable and not corrugated or chopped up. This property is by arrangement only. Before you reach the main house and beach area there are cattle yards, this is where the host would meet the group to talk about the cattle and life on the land. Our passengers can then entice their senses and be part of a real Australian experience with traditional billy tea and delectable home-made scones and cream. They can learn the tricks of the trade and even have a go at being branded themselves! Then, take a journey up through the bush land to the breathtaking outlook, encompassing views of seven of the magnificent Whitsunday Islands. Venture down to the beachfront homestead and marvel at the pristine private beach and lush meandering gardens. The group will then enjoy a bbq lunch with time to wander. Earlando is absolutely stunning! It is a memorable and unique experience to be enjoyed by all.
